KOHLER, Wisc. — A former Gainesville resident will take his shot at history starting Thursday.
Charles Frost, a 39-year-old Gainesville High graduate, will compete in the 2015 PGA Championship at Whistling Straits in Kohler, Wisc., teeing off in the opening round at noon.
Currently the teaching pro at Kiawah Island Club, Frost is also coaching current PGA professional Ben Martin, who will also compete at the event.
