GAINESVILLE - Two alleged gang members are among four Gainesville men arrested recently by the Hall County Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad (MANS).
Lt. Scott Ware says- Genaro Moran, 18, and Edwin Barrera, 24 were arrested after they sold two ounces of marijuana during the course of a drug investigation. Both, Ware added, are documented members of the criminal street gang BOE.
Ware says Moran was also found in possession of a stolen 380 semi-automatic pistol. He says agents found two additional baggies of marijuana during a search of Barrera’s vehicle.
The other two suspects are Brandon Diaz-Jacinto and Jose Aguilar, both 17. Diaz-Jacinto was charged with possession of marijuana and abandonment of a controlled substance. Lt. Ware said the latter charge was filed after he threw down a baggy containing marijuana as officers approached.
Aguilar was found in possession of less than one ounce of marijuana.
Ware says warrants have been obtained for a fifth suspect who fled the scene on foot.
