CLARKESVILLE - The Clarkesville Junior Main Street Board was introduced to the Clarkesville Mayor and Council recently.
The group is comprised of eight students from Tallulah Falls School, Habersham Central High School, North Georgia Technical College and Piedmont College.
The Junior Main Street Program is a component of Clarkesville Main Street and was formed to assist students in achieving community service credits while learning skills in the areas of event planning, marketing, project management, and teamwork. Board members learn how to make decisions as a group, choose a project that will fit with the mission of the Clarkesville Main Street program and develop a plan to accomplish the goals of the project.
