The Hall County Government has released its mobile app, a companion to the updated city website.
It provides citizens with access to County information and services at their fingertips.
With the increased use of mobile devices, the Hall County app is an essential tool for citizen engagement, working seamlessly with Hall County's website to provide users with 24/7 access to their government.
"The app has many of the same features as the website," Hall County Public Information Officer Katie Crumley said. "Citizens can look at agendas for upcoming Board of Commissioners meetings, find jobs in County government, browse the latest bid postings and much more."
Hallcounty.org already supports a responsive design, meaning the website will adjust to whatever device it is being used on, however, the mobile app takes the website a step further. Much of the content for the Hall County app is housed on the device itself, yielding faster load speeds and a rich user experience overall.
"This is yet another example of how Hall County is embracing innovative technology as a way to provide citizens with greater access to their government both now and in the future," said Hall County Administrator Randy Knighton.
The Hall County mobile app was designed by Civic Plus, who also redesigned the County's website. The development of the mobile app was included in the original cost of the new website design.
The app is available for both iOS and Android operating systems and can be downloaded by searching for "Hall County Mobile" in the App Store.
