VIDEO: Kyle Busch makes historic sweep at Indianapolis

For those who doubted Kyle Busch could come back and contend for a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series championship after his injuries earlier this year - those doubts should be firmly put to rest after Sunday.

On a late race restart, Busch powered past Kevin Harvick's dominant Chevrolet to take the lead, then held off an equally strong Joey Logano on the final restart to drive to his first Brickyard 400 victory at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

The win is Busch's fourth in the last five Sprint Cup Series races, all coming after an 11 race absence while he recovered from his injuries in February.

Afterwards, Busch said he knew early in the weekend that his team could contend for the win, and talked to the media about the victory.  We also heard from car owner Joe Gibbs, second place finisher Logano and third place finisher Harvick.

On Saturday, Ryan Blaney stole the lead away from Kyle Busch on the final restart and looked to be was on his way to victory in the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Indianapolis.

With three laps to go, he led by more than half a second.  But Blaney was slowed by the lap car of Derrick Cope, allowing Busch to close, and when Blaney bobbled ever so slightly in turn two on the final lap, Busch pounced, and went on to score his second series win of the season, extending his all-time win record to 72.

Busch talked afterwards about the win.  We also heard from second place Blaney and third place Daniel Suarez.
