Baldwin boil water advisory lifted

BALDWIN — The boil water advisory for some people on the Baldwin water system, which was issued early Tuesday, has been has been discontinued.

 

It was in effect for Banks County residents on the City of Baldwin water system in the old U.S. 441 and Georgia 105 area south of Harmony Church Road.  It was issued after a water main break and loss of required pressure in that section of the water system.

 

However, Baldwin city officials say bacteriological samplings collected from several sites in that area Tuesday tested negative for the presence of harmful bacteria.
