GAINESVILLE — Fashion, fun and Elvis.
Tickets are on sale now for the sixth annual Little Black Dress Party set for 7:00 p.m. Friday, June 26, at Gainesville Civic Center. This year’s theme is “Viva Las Vegas!”
Once again all proceeds will benefit Glory Hope & Life, a local nonprofit dedicated to enriching the lives of those touched by cancer. Organizers are hoping to raise $20,000.
Started by Women for Health, the annual “girls’ night out” features a silent auction, DJ entertainment, heavy hors d’oeuvres and the black dress awards.
In addition, this year’s party also will feature a survivor fashion show sponsored by Belk and Elvis impersonator Steve “Elvis” Petty. Petty recently lost his mother to cancer and was eager to be involved.
Individual tickets are available for $35, or tables of nine can be reserved for $350. Call 770-654-6225 to purchase your tickets or for more information. Those interested can also visit the donation page on www.gloryhopelife.org and note “Little Black Dress Party” at check out.
