Vic Hill powered to the lead on lap seven of Saturday night’s Ultimate Super Late Model feature at Wythe Raceway in Rural Retreat, Va., went on to score the victory.
Toccoa, Ga.’s Casey Roberts set fast time in qualifying, and would lead the field to the green flag. Roberts set the pace for the opening seven laps, but would surrender the top spot to Hill.
From there, Hill remained in control of the feature, and drove away to take the victory and the $4,000 winner’s payday.
Casey Barrow finished in second, with Jeff Smith in third, Roberts in fourth and Dennis Franklin in fifth.
Dustin Mitchell, Travis Greer, Ronnie Hoover and Kenny Peeples, Jr. rounded out the top nine finishers.
The Ultimate Super Late Model Series returns to action on Friday, June 12 at 411 Motor Speedway in Seymour, Tenn.
