JAMAICA, Va. - Shane Clanton came out on top of a three-car battle to score the Ultimate Super Late Model Series victory Saturday night at Virginia Motor Speedway in Jamaica, Va.
With nine laps to go, Clanton, of Zebulon, Ga., took control of the race, and held off a strong field of competitors to score the $10,000 payday for the TireX 100 win.
Austin Hubbard finished in second, with Toccoa, Ga.’s Casey Roberts in third, Rick Eckertin fourth and Jeff Smith in fifth.
Kenny Pettyjohn, Dennis Franklin, Joey Coulter, Mason Zeigler and Gregg Satterlee rounded out the top ten.
The Ulitimate Super Late Model Series returns to North Georgia this Saturday, as the series will travel to Toccoa Raceway in Toccoa, Ga. for a $4,000 to win event.
