Jackson Co. authorities search for missing inmate

JEFFERSON - Authorities are looking for a Jackson County inmate who apparently walked away from a work detail.

According to Warden Johnny Weaver, the Jackson County Correctional Institute inmate, Micheal Shaun Lillibridge, escaped from his work detail Thursday afternoon around 2:50 p.m.
 
Lillibridge is described as a 36-year-old white male with brown hair and brown eyes, about five feet tall, nine inches tall and weighs 180 pounds.
 
He was last seen traveling on Country Farm Road in a white Ford F-350 pick up truck with a Jackson County logo on the side, license plate number GV74887.
 
Officials believe he may be headed towards Morrow in Clayton County.
 
Lillibridge was in the Jackson County Correctional Institute for possession of narcotics and had previously served time for terroristic threats and aggravated assualt.
