HAMPTON, Ga. - Scott Mosley made the pass on the 18th lap of Saturday’s Legends Masters feature on Atlanta Motor Speedway’s “Thunder Ring”, and moved away to cruise to the win, as the Hampton, Ga. track hosted INEX Legends action.
Bill Plemons, Jr. finished in second, with Dennis Hecht third and Robbie Woodall in fourth.
In other action, Ryan Howell led every lap in the combined Beginner Bandoleros Division and Bandits Division feature race and cruised to victory by a comfortable margin. Nathan Jackson matched Howell’s pace early on, but Howell’s speed beat our the field down the stretch. Ryan Younginer finished second, with Jackson in third, Allen River in fourth, and Blaise Maddox in fifth.
In the Outlaws Division, Connor Younginer led every lap and negotiated three restarts, including a green-white-checkered finish, to take the victory. Rick Springer ran second, with Trey Tadrzak in third, Lexi Gay in fourth and Gauntt Hudgins in fifth.
Taylor Jorgensen made a late race move on her brother, Jenson Jorgensen, to score the victory in the Semi-Pro division. Brandon Brock, Amber Fleeman and Jordan Coker rounded out the top five.
Atlanta Motor Speedway’s Thursday Thunder Legends and Bandolero racing series cranks up its 18th season on the “Thunder Ring” for eight straight weeks beginning June 4.
