GAINESVILLE -- The North Hall girls tennis team advanced to the second round of the Class AAAA playoffs after taking a dominating 5-0 win over Gilmer Wednesday.
The Lady Trojans dropped just four games in the sweep.
In singles, Natalie Oxley beat Anna Westmoreland 6-0, 6-2; Kelsey McCray whipped Ally Davis 6-0, 6-0; and Karleigh Dills defeated Kali Malham 6-0, 6-0.
In doubles, Hannah Gibson and Kaitlyn Smith slammed Rachel Penland and Hannah Colwell 6-0, 6-0 and MaryClare Patterson and Courtney Barnes beat Hannah Thomas and Kendal Avery 6-2, 6-0.
