BOGART -- The Lakeview Academy boys golf team advanced to its first-ever Sectionals Monday at Jennings Mill Country Club.
The Lions finished third behind Athens Academy and Prince Avenue Christian to qualify for the Class A North Sectionals.
Gabe McConnell paced Lakeview with an 80 and John Jacobs shot shot an 83, Oliver Whitehead fired a 97 and Thomas Gay a 103 for the Lions.
