COMMERCE - Georgia Department of Transportation officials saypart of a street in Commerce will be closed for about a week beginning Saturday.
Norfolk Southern is requring the closure of one lane on SR 98/North Broad Street because of railroad crossing work. The inside westbound lane from Line Street to SR 15/Jefferson Street/Homer Road will be closed around the clock as crews remove the existing cross-tie support wall and install a new one.
Traffic will continue to flow through the area but delays are expected.
