Girls golf: Lady Red Elephants shoot past West Hall

GAINESVILLE -- The Gainesville girls golf team defeated West Hall on Tuesday at Chattahoochee Golf Club in Gainesville, out-shooting the Lady Spartans 163-171.

Julianna Towns was the match low medalist with a round of 51. Grace Brown added a 53 and Lauren Pudenz carded a 57.

Olivia Young paced West Hall with a 52, while Delaney Smith added a 54.

Gainesville will play Habersham Central on Wednesday at Apple Mountain Golf Club and Resort.
