Each camp is packed with activities including cooking classes, gardening and chickens 101 to learn where the food we eat comes from. The lesson plans are designed to promote a healthy interest in food and positively influence kids' decisions about what they eat. This year's location is moving to a new 28-acre farm.
Classes run Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. On Friday, class is from 9 a.m. to noon, culminating with the kids cooking lunch for their parents or grandparents.
