Girls tennis: Branch takes down Clarke Central

The Flowery Branch girls tennis team swept the doubles in taking 4-1 victory over Clarke Central Monday in Region 8-AAAA action.

The Lady Falcons improved to 9-3, 8-1 in region 8-AAAA play with the win.

In doubles, Brooke Kane and Breanna Benton defeated Isobel Crain and Amelia Delamater 6-0, 6-2 and Kaia Clark and Kylie McGuire beat Addie Downs and Denise Sunta 6-0, 6-0.

In singles, Olivia Correa defeated Maddy Jenkins 6-2, 5-7, 6-3 at No. 2 and Peyton Brick beat Johanna Hall 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3.

Nicole Morris fell to Caroline Caldwell 6-3, 6-2 at No. 1 singles.
