The Bilingual Customer Service Specialist Certificate can be completed in only two semesters and incorporates training in basic business, the Spanish language and Hispanic cultures, and, of course, customer service.
"We developed this certificate in response to feedback from businesses in our seven-county service area who said they were having a hard time finding employees with those all-important soft skills related to good customer service," said Dr. Dana Nichols, Assistant Vice President of Academic Affairs.
"People just entering the workforce today are far more comfortable with texting and emailing than they are with assisting others on the telephone or in person. This certificate teaches this new generation what excellent customer service looks like and sounds like
