12 HCSD teams qualify for Oyssey of the Mind state competition

GAINESVILLE - Twelve Hall County School District (HCSD) teams recently qualified for the Odyssey of the Mind State Finals Competition to be held Saturday in Columbus. Each of the teams finished at the top of their "problem and division."

*Runaway Train: Davinci Academy

*Experiencing Technical Difficulties: World Language Academy and C.W. Davis Middle School

*Pandora's Box: Spout Springs, DaVinci Academy, Johnson High School

*Lose your Marbles: DaVinci Academy, C. W. Davis Middle School

*Silent Movie: Spout Springs, DaVinci Academy, Flowery Branch High School, Johnson High School

The first and second place teams at the state finals will qualify for the international finals at Michigan State University in May.
