SUWANEE - As part of its commitment to being a Tree City USA, the City of Suwanee will plant elm or oak trees behind the Municipal Court/Crossroads Center at 323 Buford Highway on March 28.

Volunteers are needed to assist with the planting starting at 9:00.

To volunteer, contact City Planner Dan Robinson at [email protected].

"While planting an oak or elm tree might sound arduous, we promise that helping to plant these trees really is not back-breaking work. Just about anyone can do it, and it's a great way to give back to the environment and to make an impact on the community for many years to come."

The City of Suwanee has been a Tree City USA for 25 years.
