Gainesville High FCCLA headed to state competition

GAINESVILLE - Members of Gainesville High FCCLA (Family, Career and Community Leaders of America) and their teacher, Whittney McPherson, recently attended region competitions where all five teams won first place and will be advancing to state level competitions.

Larturah Johnson, Juannee Allen and Natalia Nunez with Senior Food Innovations Tasty Tabbouleh

Areli Albarran, Arianna Alvarado and Bianca Ortiz with Life Event Planning "My Sweet 16"

Mikyria Maeweathers, Ana Serrano and Karla Corona advanced directly to State with their Advocacy Project on the Foster Care system in Georgia

Sammy Lara and Ashley Dabney advanced directly to State with their Advocacy Project on the Legality of Drug and Alcohol Use while Pregnant
