Baseball: Falcons stonewall Cedar Shoals, 15-0

FLOWERY BRANCH -- The Flowery Branch baseball team got off to a flawless start to the Region 8-AAAAA season on Monday.

The Falcons stonewalled Cedar Shoals 15-0 in Flowery Branch, as Trevor Roof shut down the Jaguars line-up en route to the victory.

At the plate Andrew Nolt led the way, going 4 for 4 with two RBI. Stephen Skeggs also finished 3 for 4, while Trey Groves went 2 for 3.

The Falcons will travel to face Cedar Shoals on Wednesday.
