Lanier Islands looking for another 500 workers as busiest times of year draw near

BUFORD - As Georgians thaw out from the latest rounds of winter storms, Lake Lanier Islands already has its sights firmly focused on Spring and Summer 2015.

To prepare for its two busiest seasons of the year, the South Hall resort plans to fill up to 500 positions over the course of the next couple of months.

To date, the largest number of employees the resort has ever had on staff was 1,000, at the height of the summer season at LanierWorld
