Gainesville-Hall transportation group sets final public input meeting

GAINESVILLE - The Gainesville-Hall Metropolitan Planning Organization (GHMPO) will host the fourth and final public input meeting on transportation recommendations for the local area March 23.

The first meeting provided citizens with the opportunity to voice their experience with the transportation network they encounter on a daily basis. The second meeting gave residents the chance to tell planners which needs are most important to them. The third meeting gave attendees a chance to see the preliminary list of projects. This final meeting will be a presentation of the plan's recommendations through 2040.

It will begin at 5:30, with formal presentation planned for 6:00.

The meeting will be held at the Hall County Government Center.
