Girls soccer: Lakeview girls shut out Towns in 8-A match

The Lakeview Academy girls soccer team stayed unbeaten in Area 8-A play after a 3-0 win over Towns County on Tuesday.

Lakeview Academy (4-1, 2-0 Area 8-A) broke a scoreless tie in the 35th minute on a goal by Carmen Wagner goal off a nice through pass from Sarah Hutchinson.

In the second half scored Meredith Tucker goal off an assist from Jackie Allen and Wagner scored her second goal of the game with 10 minutes left off a pass from Tucker.

Ansley Rochester recorded her first shutout in goal with eight saves.
