ATLANTA (AP) -- Forecasters say a mix of sleet and light freezing rain will be possible in parts of north Georgia overnight tonight as the latest winter storm moves across the South.

In a special weather statement issued early Wednesday, the National Weather Service said areas along and north of a line from Cedartown to Canton and Cleveland have the best chance for light accumulations. Rome, Blue Ridge, Ellijay, Dalton, Chatsworth, Dahlonega and Blairsville are among the cities and towns included in that area.

Forecasters say freezing rain could accumulate to one-tenth of an inch; with a quarter of an inch of sleet in the region, though higher amounts can't be ruled out.
