Collins scored 12 of his points in the first half as Wofford built a 10-point lead going into the break. Collins was 7 of 11 from the field, including 4 of 6 from beyond the arc. Lee Skinner added 15 points and Karl Cochran added 13 as the Terriers shot 54.5 percent from the field (24 of 44) and 9 of 18 from distance.
Darious Moten scored 18 points to lead Mercer (16-14, 11-6), which will be the No. 3 seed into the conference tournament.
Wofford closes out the regular season Saturday at Furman.
