CUMMING - Snow showers in the Cumming area early Friday evening quickly made driving on some roads in Forsyth County treacherous.

The sheriff's department reported icy conditions on several roads, including some major routes, and, using its Facebook page, warned motorists to slow down and leave plenty of room between them and the car or truck ahead of them.

A number of accidents were blamed on the icy roads, some of them rollover crashes, but there were no reports of any injuries.

Farther north in Walker County, a crash Saturday morning involved four tractor trailers on Interstate 75 near the Tennessee line. All northbound lanes were blocked for a time, according to WXIA-TV ( http://on.11alive.com/1By0P89 ).

Police in said no injuries were reported.
