AAAA playoffs: Cold-shooting Chestatee girls fall to Pickens

GAINESVILLE -- It was not worth the wait for the Chestatee girls basketball team.

After having to postpone its Class AAAA first round matchup with Pickens for the past two days, the Lady War Eagles could never find an offensive rhythm on Thursday, were plagued by untimely turnovers, and had trouble stopping the the Lady 'Nettes
Senior Tyler Bennett scored 15 points in her final game for the Chestatee girls. The Lady War Eagles fell 42-37 to Pickens Thursday in the first round of the Class AAAA playoffs.
