Sunday games of UNG Loyal Blue Classic cancelled

DAHLONEGA -- Due to concerns of extreme temperatures expected early Sunday, the final three games of the UNG Loyal Blue Classic have been cancelled, head coach Mike Davenport announced Thursday morning. <br /> <br /> Saturday's games will be played as originally scheduled.<br /> <br /> The weather forecast calls for a drastic drop in the temp of nearly 20 degrees from Saturday to Sunday and temperatures would have likely been below freezing for at least two of the three games on Sunday.<br /> <br /> The softball home opener was pushed back to Friday afternoon over concerns of similar conditions on Thursday. The baseball team also adjusted its weekend schedule to have all three games played entirely in daylight.
