High winds, below zero wind chills expected in N. Georgia

ATLANTA (AP) -- High winds followed by a surge of cold air this weekend are in store for Georgia as multiple cold fronts move across the South.<br /> <br /> The National Weather Service issued a high wind advisory for Thursday in north and central Georgia, where winds are expected to gust up to 30 mph.<br /> <br /> A strong but dry arctic front will move across north and central Georgia Saturday. Much colder air will spread across the region Saturday night as northwest winds increase to 15 to 30 mph. High temperatures Sunday are expected to rise only into the upper 20s and 30s across north Georgia, and the mid 30s to lower 40s across central Georgia.
