Boys basketball: Knights need 2 OTs to keep unbeaten streak alive

TOCCOA -- Class AAAA No. 2-ranked Johnson kept its unbeaten streak alive with a tough 54-46, double-overtime win over Stephens County Friday night.<br />

Senior Rod English had a huge game with 25 points and 12 rebounds for Johnson (23-0, 7-0 Region 8-AAAA). Senior Ty Cockfield added 18 points for the Knights.<br />

De'undre Singleton paced Stephens County (6-17, 1-5) with 16 points<br />
<br />
The victory also locked up the top seed for Johnson in next week's Region 8-AAAA Tournament. The Knights will travel tp Monroe Area on Friday in the regular season finale for both teams.
