The Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce and the Georgia Transportation Alliance will host a transportation forum in Gainesville January 7.
The discussion will center on economic development and transportation issues and feature three prominent members of the Georgia General Assembly: Senator Steve Gooch (R-Dahlonega), Senator Tommie Williams (R-Lyons), and Representative Christian Coomer (R-Cassville).
A series of these "coffee and conversation" style meetings is planned around the state next week. Organizers say they will focus on key transportation topics prior to the 2016 legislative session which begins Jan. 11.
The Gainesville meeting will be held from 3:00-4:30 at the Gainesville Civic Center. There is no charge but reservations are required.
