Dealership offering $10,000 reward for recovery of stolen classic car

ROYSTON - A Franklin County car dealership is seeking information about the theft of a classic car and a muscle car from its facility over the long Christmas weekend.

Tri-County Chevrolet is offering a $10,000 reward for the return of the black 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air show car and information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons who took the vehicle.

Royston police report the 1956 Belair and an orange 2013 Dodge Challenger R/T with black stripes down the side were taken between Thursday, Dec. 24, and the early morning hours of Monday, Dec. 28.

Anyone who was in the Royston area anytime during the above dates who saw either vehicle is asked to call Royston Police Department at (706) 245-6196.

STOLEN: This orange 2013 Dodge Challenger with black stripes down the side was stolen from Tri-County Chevrolet in Royston between Thursday, Dec. 24, and early Monday, Dec. 28. Also taken was a black and chrome 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air show car.
