TOCCOA - The Georgia State Patrol has released details of a Friday-night wreck that injured three people in Habersham County.
Trooper 1st Class Crawford said the two-vehicle wreck happened at 9:10 p.m. on Georgia Highway 15 (U.S. 441) at Talmadge Drive in Hollywood.
A black Acura 3.2 TL driven by 44-year-old William Douglas Allen of Clarkesville was traveling north on Georgia 15 in the left turn lane and turned into the path of a southbound blue Chevrolet S-10 pickup driven by 46-year-old Jeffery Lee Jordan of Eastanollee, Crawford said.
The collision seriously injured Jordan's passenger, 44-year-old Jennifer Jill Jordan of Mt. Airy, Crawford said. She was rushed by ambulance to Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Jeffery Lee Jordan complained of injuries and also was taken by ambulance to Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Allen suffered lower extremity injuries but was not transported, according to Crawford.
"There was no alcohol involved," Crawford said. "Charges are pending."
The wreck shut down the southbound lanes of Georgia 15 for an extended time while the wreck was investigated and cleared.
The Georgia Department of Public Safety Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team also responded.
