Weeks after winning a Class AAAAA individual title, Flowery Branch High cross country standout Jake Shewbert kept up his impressive fall by finishing 15th at the Footlocker South Regional race in Charlotte, N.C.
Shewbert finished the meet, which included champion runners from Texas to Virginia, in 15 minutes, 33 seconds.
The Falcons senior provided the fastest finish time of any runner from Georgia, narrowly missing out on qualifying for the national finals (the top 10 qualified for nationals).
