Lady Lions soccer learns destination for first round of NCAA tourney

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — The Lady Lions know who they are facing and where they are heading for the 2015 NCAA Tournament following today's selection show as they will be traveling to Crestview Hills, Ky., to take on Thomas More College in the first round on Saturday. The Saints of Thomas More post a 17-0-2 record overall compared to the Lady Lions' 20-1-1 record.

The Lady Lions hosted a watch party as the team joined together to watch the selection show live on NCAA.com with the celebration footage available here.

Piedmont heads to the national tournament after winning the USA South Conference Tournament title and earning the automatic berth. The Saints earned the Presidents' Athletic Conference's (PAC) automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Tournament after winning the PAC Championship Tournament.

Also joining the Lady Lions for the first round in Crestview Hills will be Sewanee: University of the South and the University of Chicago who play each other in the first round on Saturday as well. The winners of those two match ups will advance to meet in the second round in Crestview Hills on Sunday, November 15.
