AIKEN, S.C. — An early Rachel VanHorn goal would give the 16th-ranked University of North Georgia women's soccer team all they would need to take down USC Aiken on the road Saturday afternoon.
With the victory, the Nighthawks finish the regular season at 13-2-1 and 8-2-1 in Peach Belt Conference play.
VanHorn scored the lone goal of the game in the 18th minute. It was her first game-winning goal of the season.
