PASCAGOULA, Miss. (AP) The Coast Guard says the search continues for three men aboard a single-engine plane that went missing Monday afternoon in the Mississippi Sound shortly after takeoff from Gulfport.
Two of three people on a plane that went missing are employees of a north Georgia-based contracting business.
Bob Roy, president and co-owner of RMR Mechanical based in Cumming, Georgia, told The Sun Herald both company manager Dexter Brewer and vice president and co-owner Gerald Miletello were on the plane.
Debris, possibly from the plane, was spotted near Belle Fontaine beach in Jackson County, Mississippi Tuesday.
Roy said Brewer was his way to a customer meeting in South Carolina. He said the third person on the plane was a pilot. His name has not been released.
