GREENSBORO, N.C. — The Pride of Greensboro College handed the Piedmont College men's soccer team a 4-1 loss on Saturday afternoon. Piedmont could not overcome an early goal by Greensboro on the road dropping the conference contest to the Pride who currently sit atop the conference table with 25 points through nine games.
Shaun Watt tabbed a hat-trick for the Pride scoring the early goal in the opening minutes of the contest before adding another in the 35th and 61st. For Watt, the three goals brought his season totals to 16 goals on the season, the most in the USA South by any one player.
Robbie Barnes accounted for the fourth Greensboro goal scoring in the 26th minute. For Piedmont, it was the Metzger connection that accounted for their lone score with NATHAN METZGER heading away a MATTHEW METZGER free kick in the final minute of regulation.

--Greensboro's Shaun Watt scored just over two minutes into the contest causing Piedmont to chase the game early on in the loss.

--NATHAN METZGER scored in the final minute of play to keep Piedmont from being shutout as he scored on a free kick service from his older brother, MATTHEW METZGER.
--Greensboro senior Shaun Watt had a hat-trick on senior day for the Pride at home.
