BUFORD — Buford football is going worldwide.

The Wolves, along with three other Atlanta-area squads, will trek to Ireland next season to take part in the Aer Lingus College Football Classic on Sept. 2 in Dublin. The Classic's big feature is the Georgia Tech-Boston College contest.

Buford's opponent -- which has not been set yet -- will be a non-Georgia squad. It will be counted as a regular-season game. The other two Atlanta-area high school teams making the trip are Marist and Blessed Trinity.

Buford has played regular season contests in both Texas and Ohio in past seasons.
