LAWRENCEVILLE - A Gwinnett County Sheriff's Deputy has been arrested for narcotics.
According to a release from the Gwinnett County Sheriff's Office, on-duty deputies were serving administrative paperwork to Deputy Trenell Bullock's home when they spotted what appeared to be methamphetamine and drug paraphenalia in plain view.
The release said Bullock, a 15 year veteran of the department, was arrested and charged with a violation of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act.
Bullock has been placed on administrative leave until the conclusion of the investigation. He was booked into the Gwinnett County Jail on $5,700 bond.
