GAINESVILLE - Patching will continue next week on Jesse Jewell Parkway through downtown Gainesville.
However, the Georiga Department of Transportation (GDOT) said Thursday the work is expected to be completed next week. Crews will begin by removing damaged asphalt, replacing damaged asphalt, and then resurfacing the entire corridor with new asphalt.
Like the work this week, crews will be on the job Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. They'll be working eastbound from Hilton Drive to E.E. Butler Parkway.
Patch work earlier this week on Jesse Jewell Parkway near Academy Street.
