JEFFERSON - Spend a fall day at the Shields-Ethridge Heritage Farm on October 17 from 9AM to 2PM to see cooking the way it used to be; over an open fire in cast iron pots

 Black Pot Cooking Meal: Adults $15 Children age12 and under $10 which includes one plate and drink.

 Black Pot Menu:

Chicken & Dumplings*Turnip Greens *Beans *Sweet Potatoes *Cornbread

*Cobblers all cooked over an open fire.

 Farm buildings, including the Grist Mill, Commissary, Cotton Gin, Blacksmith Shop, and Teacher’s House will be open.
