MONTEVALLO, Ala. — A trio of late goals pushed the No. 2-ranked University of North Georgia women's soccer team to a 4-1 Peach Belt Conference win at Montevallo on Wednesday evening at UM's Varsity Field.
After the host Falcons evened up the match at a goal apiece in the 67th minute, the Nighthawks responded to jump back ahead just a minute later on a goal by Jessica Allen.
North Georgia (8-0-1, 3-0-1 PBC) tacked on a pair of goals in the final 10 minutes to secure the team's eighth win of the season and extend the season's unbeaten streak to nine matches.
Montevallo falls to 1-7-2 overall and 0-4-0 in league play.
