GAINESVILLE - Gainesville City Council candidate Zack Thompson will host a meet-and-greet Thursday.
It will be held 4:30 to 7:00 at 1547 Riverside Drive, the Junior League of Gainesville-Hall County Headquarters, which is the old Elks Club location.
Thompson is one of two candidates running for the Post 2 seat on the council now held by Bob Hamrick, who has decided not to seek re-election this year. Emory Turner is also running for the post.
