Girls basketball: Branch storms back in second half to win

FLOWERY BRANCH -- The Flowery Branch girls basketball team wasn't about to let this one slip away, but they had to fight to do so.<br /> <br /> Trailing Winder-Barrow 18-14 at the half and tied 32-32 after three quarters, the Lady Falcons took over down the stretch en route to a 48-38 win on Friday in Flowery Branch.<br /> <br /> Kierra Knight scored a team-high 13 points, while Julianne Sutton added 12 points for Flowery Branch (19-3, 11-1 Region 8-AAAAA). Lexie Sengkhammee also scored nine.<br /> <br /> The Lady Falcons will play host to Lanier on Feb. 6.
