Police: Atlanta area man shot dead trying to rob dog breeder from Winder

DECATUR, Ga. (AP) Police say a metro Atlanta man was fatally shot as he tried to rob a bulldog breeder he had contacted through the website Craigslist. <br /> <br /> The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports DeKalb County police have linked the dead man to at least four other cases in which people trying to sell items online were robbed. <br /> <br /> Police say the man, whose name has not been released, was killed early Friday by one of two men from Winder who thought they were selling him an English Bulldog. <br /> <br /> Dog breeder Walter Gonzalez told police he got out of the car and a man standing outside a home drew a gun on him. Gonzalez's friend, Salvador Burgos, told officers he also had a gun and shot the man. Gonzalez and Burgos fled and then called police. <br />
