Boys basketball: Vikings move one win away from the No. 1 seed

DAHLONEGA -- The East Hall boys basketball team moved within one win of clinching the No. 1 seed for Region 7-AAA courtesy a 87-57 win at Lumpkin County on Tuesday.<br />
<br />
The Vikings (17-4, 9-0 Region 7-AAA) surged ahead 32-9 after the first quarter and cruised the rest of the way, leading 52-28 at the half.<br />
<br />
Kyvon Davenport scored 15 points to pace East Hall, while Triston Cooper added 13 and Luke Cooper 12. Jacquen Hopkins also scored 10 points.<br />
<br />
Matt Satterfield scored 12 points to lead the Indians.<br />
<br />
The Vikings can take the top seed for the 7-AAA tournament with a win on Friday at Fannin County.<br />
<br />
Lumpkin County will play host to Dawson County on Friday.
