Centennial, Fair St. Reading Bowl teams advance to regional competition; Centennial Robotics Team advances to state finals

GAINESVILLE - The Reading Bowl teams from Centennial Arts Academy and Fair Street IB Academy have advanced to regional competition.<br /> <br /> Those teams took top honors at the recent Reading Bowl for elementary schools in the Gainesville City School System. <br /> <br /> They'll be joined by teams from Gainesville Middle School and Gainesville High School at the Regional Meet on Feb. 7. <br /> <br /> Meanwhile, the Centennial Robotics Team was recently recognized in another competition for the "Most Innovative Solution." It will now participate in the State Robotics Competition to be held at the University of Georgia also on Feb. 7.
